SKS WORLD SCHOOL added another glory to its whole- year celebration of various festivals by commemorating the birth of Lord Krishna, through the Janamashtami festival. Lord Krishna is considered as one of the most powerful human incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The sole objective of his birth was to free the world from the evilness of demons.
Keeping this objective in mind, our school has taken the initiative to observe this festival with much pomp and glory. The Montessori children in the attire of Lord Krishna and Radha accordingly, performed dance shows which brought out the real flavours and piousness of the festival. The innocence of Lord Krishna’s childhood gets truly reflected by the dance performance of class I and II. The breath-taking Inter-House Dance Competition by the senior sections revealed- the beauty, elegance, charm, radiance, empathy, compassion and supremacy which are regarded as the attributes of Lord Krishna. The main motive through this celebration is to instil the values of religious sentiments in our future generation making them rich in their spirit, by being guided by the sermons of Lord Krishna.
Everyone enjoyed the performances as the participants presented different colours of Janamashtami with their mesmerising performance.
The celebration came to an end by the announcement of the Inter-House Dance Competition. “Shivalik House” was declared as the winner.
The Principal of the school congratulated the winner and motivated others by her motivational speech.
